Tithing Enters the 21st Century
The march issue of digitaltransactions has an article titled Tithing Enters the 21st Century. She mentions Faith Direct a company that is working to make contributions convenient for the Catholic Church.
The article also mentions that “Americans made more than $295 billion in charitable donations in 2006”. She also mentions that “some churches have taken to placing ATM-style “giving kiosks” inside their buildings”. These kiosks are provided by SecureGive at a cost that ranges from $25 to $75 dollars per month.
While the issue also contains an article covering the hot topic m-commerce (Mobile Commerce), I was probably interested in the article because I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I’m curios what plans it has for participating in this conversion.
